In memory of our beloved parents, Aljernon and Elise Lloyd, who recognized the importance of education and work ethnics in the lives of their children and grandchildren, we have decided to create this scholarship in their honor and as a reminder of their appreciation for education.
The Lloyd Family is delighted to provide a yearly scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 to a minority Amory High School graduating senior.

Scholarship Applications must include an official copy of your transcript and must be submitted by the deadline listed below to be considered.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Must be a minority senior at Amory High School.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Must submit a CERTIFIED copy of your high school transcript.
Must complete the personal application statement.
All applicants must submit 2 letters of recommendation Counselor, Teacher, Pastor, Community Leader (non-relative).
Applicant must complete a biographical essay.
Applicant must list extracurricular and work activities on the form provided.
Sign your application form. Any form received not signed will be considered ineligible.

The scholarship application will be accepted January 1, 2025 through March 3, 2025.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The scholarship application does include a 250 word essay. Please be prepared to submit the essay with your application.
